England fall 2-0 behind to West Indies in the best-of-five T20 series with a 10-run defeat in Grenada.

West Indies have recorded a 10-run victory over England to take a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series.

Having lost the one-day international equivalent, England are under pressure to respond in the shortened format, but they produced yet another indifferent performance in Grenada.

At one stage, everything appeared to be going England's way after they reduced West Indies to 54-4 from 8.2 overs, putting them firmly in control.

Adil Rashid took two of those wickets and finished with figures of 2-11, but Brandon King hit a majestic 82 from 52, remaining at the crease for the full 20 overs.

Rovman Powell also made a sensational 50 from 28 that featured five sixes to help West Indies set a total of 176-7, one that should have been within England's reach.

However, having lost Jos Buttler for just five during the early stages, they were always playing catch-up even with Phil Salt (25) and Will Jacks (24) making contributions.

Sam Curran made an excellent 50 from 32 to keep the innings ticking over but each of the trio fell to Alzarri Joseph, whose 3-39 proved pivotal.

Harry Brook made five from eight balls before Curran's dismissal, while Liam Livingston hit 17 from nine and Moeen Ali contributed 22 from 13 alongside tail-ender Rehan Ahmed's 10 from three deliveries.

Nevertheless, England were already too far adrift to challenge West Indies, who were helped by a remarkable 1-9 off four overs from spinner Gudakesh Motie when England were really looking to let loose with the bat.
