India captain MS Dhoni has hailed his side's performance after they claimed the one-day series against England in Delhi.
The hosts beat their opponents by five wickets after they chased down a target of 299, and Dhoni was delighted with his side's diaplay with the bat, especially Ajinkya Rahane and Gautam Gambhir who made 91 and 58 respectively.
"I think it was a very good performance," he said. "The upper middle order did the job for us. We gave away a few too many boundaries with the ball. Again, dew was a factor, so it started to come on nicely onto the bat.
"The way Rahane batted along with Gautam Gambhir was crucial. We lost wickets at the wrong time though, and we had to get another partnership going. We are backing ourselves to chase whatever the opposition scores, and we have been doing that."
The fourth ODI of the five-match series takes place in Mumbai on Sunday.
