The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has suspended all future tours of the Caribbean following the West Indies' departure from India last week.
A dispute between the Windies players and their own board saw the squad leave India after Friday's fourth one-day international, and the BCCI has issued a quick response with its decision.
India's plans to travel to the Caribbean in February 2016 have now been scrapped, and the BCCI will also take legal action against the West Indies Cricket Board.
Sri Lanka have agreed to replace the Windies and play India in a five-match ODI series, beginning on November 2.
