Centuries from Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli have put India in a commanding position on day one of the second Test against England in Visakhapatnam.
The hosts dominated in the heat as they posted 317-4 after recovering from a wobbly start, which left them at 22-2 at one stage in the morning session.
Stuart Broad and James Anderson struck early as Lokesh Rahul was taken out for a duck in the second over of the day, and Murali Vijay shortly followed after hitting 20 runs off 21 balls.
England failed to hold on to their momentum, though, as Pujara and Kohli dominated the attack, with the former scoring his second century in the series with a six.
Pujara scored 119 off 204 deliveries before getting dismissed by Anderson, but Kohli continued to thrive as he ended the day unbeaten on 151.
England had some joy with the new ball when Anderson took out Ajinkya Rahane for 23 just three deliveries in, but the day belonged to India.
