An unbeaten century from Martin Guptill has helped New Zealand to ease to an eight-wicket win over South Africa in the second one-day international of their series.
The Kiwis restricted AB de Villiers's men from posting a significant total as they bowled them out for 204, with Doug Bracewell notching three wickets.
Guptill and Tom Latham got off to a strong start as they took the attack to the Proteas, bringing up the 50 in the ninth over, while Latham soon notched his half-century off 57 balls.
The openers guided New Zealand past the 100-run mark, but Latham was to fall for 64 when he was caught by Rilee Rossouw off the bowling of Imran Tahir, leaving his side 126-1.
Skipper Kane Williamson came to the crease, but he fell cheaply when he was bowled by Aaron Phangiso.
However, Guptill held the innings together and after notching his 50, he upped the ante to drive his side towards their victory total with the support of George Worker.
Guptill brought up his century – his ninth in one-day international cricket - by hitting the winning runs to level the series against the Proteas.
