New Zealand struggling against India

New Zealand trail India by 100 runs with five wickets in hand at tea on day three of the second Test match in Wellington.

New Zealand have headed into tea on day three of the second Test match against India in Wellington on 146/5.

The Kiwis began the afternoon session on 87/4 and lost Corey Anderson shortly after the restart when he was caught and bowled by Ravindra Jadeja for just two runs.

However, Brendon McCullum and Bradley-John Watling steadied New Zealand's second-innings' batting, scoring 44 and 24 runs respectively before tea was called.

The hosts are trailing India by 100 runs with five wickets to spare.
