Former Pakistan cricket captain Salman Butt has appealed against his 30-month jail sentence for his part in the spot-fixing scandal.
The 27-year-old was found guilty of cheating and corruption along with teammates Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir.
Butt was dealt with a 30-month sentence while fast-bowler Asif was hit with a one-year jail term and Amir received the lowest sentence of six months.
Agent Mazhar Majeed, who helped orchestrate the plan to bowl no-balls during last summer's Test match against England, was given the longest jail term of two years and eight months.
After the sentencing was complete by Mr Justice Cook, Butt's lawyer revealed to reporters that the former cricketer was going to appeal against the ruling.
Teenage bowler Amir also revealed that he would try to overturn his six-month sentence.
