Pakistan spinner Abdur Rehman fails drug test

Pakistan left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman faces a two-year ban from cricket after testing positive for a banned substance.

The failed sample came during Rehman's short time at Somerset, where he took 27 wickets in four County Championship matches this summer.

The 32-year-old has reportedly tested positive for a recreational drug and, should he be found guilty, will be disciplined by the ECB, who are poised to release a statement on Wednesday.

Rehman has represented Pakistan 17 times in Tests and is also a regular member of the one-day squad.
