Pakistan continue recovery during evening session

Younis Khan posts a century to steady Pakistan's innings at the end of day one of their Test match against Sri Lanka.

A century from Younis Khan has put Pakistan in control of their Test encounter with Sri Lanka on day one at the Galle International Stadium.

The tourists struggled during the morning session and found themselves at one stage on 56-3.

However, with Khan at the crease, their innings was steadied and by the time that stumps was called, the right-hander remained unbeaten on 133 alongside Asad Shafiq, who had contributed 55 runs.

The pair will return tomorrow morning with their nation on 216-4.
