Pakistan have opened up an imposing 551-run lead over New Zealand at stumps on day two of the first Test in Abu Dhabi.
The hosts eventually declared with an impressive score of 566-3 before New Zealand ended the day on 15-0.
Starting the evening session on 471-3, Younis Khan (100 not out) and Misbah-ul-Haq (102 not out) joined Ahmed Shehzad (176) in reaching their centuries and frustrating the opposition bowlers.
Khan's ton included 10 fours, while nine fours and a six played a part in Misbah-ul-Haq getting beyond 100 as the pair asserted their dominance out in the middle.
Tom Latham (five not out) and Brendon McCullum (nine not out) will resume at the crease when play resumes tomorrow.
