Rajasthan Royals have made it four consecutive wins in the Indian Premier League with a 10-run victory over Kolkata Knight Riders.
The Royals were made to bat first and posted a score of 170-6 before the Knight Riders responded with 160-6.
Ajinkya Rahane (30), Karun Nair (44), Sanju Samson (37) and Shane Watson (31) did most of the damage with the bat when it was Rajasthan's turn at the crease.
Vinay Kumar and Sunil Narine ended with two wickets apiece for Kolkata, while Shakib Al Hasan also got in on the act.
Big scores of 65 and 54 from Robin Uthappa and Gautam Gambhir respectively built a solid foundation for the Knight Riders when it was their turn out in the middle, and Al Hasan also made a significant contribution with a knock of 21 not out.
However, the Kolkata lower order failed to support Al Hasan as the Royals continued their winning run with three wickets each for Watson and Pravin Tambe.
