Hampshire Royals have been crowned Friends Life t20 champions following a tense 10-run win over Yorkshire in today's final at Cardiff's SWALEC Stadium.
After recording a solid total of 150-6, the Royals had looked to be cruising to victory when the Tykes were reduced to 47-4 after nine overs of their reply.
However, an inspired performance by David Miller set up a dramatic finale. Miller hit five sixes on his way to an unbeaten 72 from 36 balls, but it was not enough as Chris Wood took three wickets in an incredible final over.
Jimmy Adams top-scored for Hampshire with the bat, contributing 43 runs.
