The Kings XI Punjab claimed a five-wicket win over the Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League this evening.
The Daredevils opened the batting, but they found it difficult to build any significant partnerships.
Their top scorer was Aussie batsman David Warner, but when he was bowled by Praveen Kumar for 40, his side struggled to add more runs to their total and they eventually ended their 20 overs on 120-7.
In reply, the Kings XI got off to a poor start when opener Adam Gilchrist was caught by Johan Botha for just six runs.
However, their next three batsmen - Mandeep Singh (24), Luke Pomersbach (18) and David Miller (34 not out) - swung the game in favour of the visitors and they eventually reached their victory target with three overs to spare.
