Ireland have suffered a demoralising defeat at the hands of Netherlands to bow out of the World Twenty20.
William Porterfield's side were aware that they would qualify for the next stage of the competition should they win in Sylhet, and they looked on course to progress after posting 189-4 in their 20 overs.
However, in what will be considered one of the finest run chases in the competition's short history, Netherlands reached their target with 37 balls remaining after scoring at nearly 14 runs per over.
Stephan Myburgh struck seven sixes on the way to 63 runs off 29 balls before Tom Cooper broke Irish hearts with six maximums in a 15-ball innings that brought 45 runs.
