South Africa captain Faf du Plessis has been fined for ball tampering in his side's recent victory over Australia, but will be free to play in the third Test.
The 32-year-old was handed the sanction by the International Cricket Council after facing a three-hour hearing into tampering claims.
Du Plessis has also been fined 100% of his match fee for breaching the ICC code of conduct, having been cited following television footage that showed him shining the ball with a mint in his mouth.
The incident took place on day four of the second Test against Australia in Hobart yet Du Plessis, who pleaded not guilty and now has 48 hours to appeal the decision, will be free to feature in the next meeting with the Aussies in Adelaide.
Du Plessis has previous for ball-tampering, as he was fined 50% of his match fee three years ago when caught rubbing the ball on the zip pocket of his trousers against Pakistan.
