West Indies fast bowler Kemar Roach has claimed that the team's game plan was a success after taking 5-60 in the Windies' victory over New Zealand yesterday.
Roach has revealed that the bowling attack had a very deliberate plan to bowl on one side of the wicket and felt that it came together after lunch.
"The plan was to bowl on one side of the wicket and look to build pressure," Cricinfo quotes Roach as saying.
"We believed that would lead to the wickets. They didn't score many runs in the first session and we took our opportunities after lunch. It was a good team plan and it worked out very well today for us."
Roach has taken 77 wickets in 20 Test matches.
