West Indies set India target of 212 to win first one-day international

India have a target of 212 to win the first one-day international against India after the tourists finish their innings all out.

The West Indies have set India a target of 212 to win the opening one-day international in Kochi after getting all out in their innings.

The biggest blow to the tourists came when Chris Gayle was run out for a duck after the first run in the game, but had to be stretchered off the pitch after taking a fall.

The early dismissal failed to shake the West Indies as Johnson Charles racked up 42 before falling to Ravindra Jadeja, while Marlon Samuels followed on 24.

Darren Bravo managed to settle the visitors by hitting a half-century, but India troubled the likes of Narsingh Deonarine and Darren Sammy, who were dismissed for four and five respectively.

Jadeja managed to claim three wickets during the West Indies' innings, while his teammate Suresh Raina matched him on the field.
