Seventeen wickets fall on the second day as West Indies take control of the first Test in Delhi.

West Indies bowled hosts India out for just 209 on day two as they took control of the first Test in Delhi.

Opening pair Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag put on 89 for India's first wicket, with the latter making 55 from just 44 balls.

However Windies captain Darren Sammy took figures of 3-35, including the wicket of his opposite number MS Dhoni for a duck, as the hosts collapsed from 100-1 to 209 all out.

Shivnarine Chanderpaul was earlier trapped lbw for 118 after passing his century on Sunday, as the visitors were dismissed for 304 with Prassan Ojha recording career best figures of 6-72.

The off spinner utilised the turning conditions well, also taking the wicket of Kraigg Brathwaite as the Windies closed day two with a second innings score of 21-2, a lead of 116.
