Olympic champion Steven Burke boosts his chances of competing at the Track World Championships next month after recovering from a broken collarbone.

Olympic champion Steven Burke remains in line to compete at the Track World Championships next month after making an early recovery from a broken collarbone.

The 26-year-old was a doubt for the event after crashing at a training camp in Majorca earlier this month.

However, Burke was included in the endurance squad that travelled back to the Balearic Island on Monday to prepare for the Championships.

The event will get underway in Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines on February 18.
