Victoria Pendleton and Jess Varnish set a new world record to win gold in the Track World Cup women's team sprint.
Victoria Pendleton and Jess Varnish have set a new world record to win gold in the Track World Cup women's team sprint.
The British pair recorded a time of 32.754 seconds inside the Olympic Velodrome as they beat Australian duo Kaarle McCulloch and Anna Meares.
"I'm pinching myself," said Varnish. "It's a dream."
Pendleton and Varnish will both be representing Team GB at this summer's London Olympics.
