Chris Froome wins Criterium International

Team Sky's Chris Froome won the Criterium International in Porto-Vecchio this afternoon.

The Kenya-born Great British rider began the day two seconds behind overall leader and teammate Richie Porte.

However, Froome eradicated that advantage during the final climb of the Col de l'Ospedale and eventually won through by 27 seconds.

The race ended in the town of Corsica, where this year's Tour de France will begin.
