Australian Michael Rogers has won the 16th stage of the Tour de France.
It is the first time that the Team Tinkoff-Saxo rider has clinched a stage victory on the tour.
Following a gruelling cycle through the Pyrenees, the 34-year-old opened up an eight-second lead with 2km to go before sealing his maiden triumph.
Europcar's Thomas Voeckler finished in second place, while Team Sky's Vassil Kiriyenka came in third.
Despite crossing the line nine minutes behind Rogers, Vincenzo Nibali of Astana retains the yellow jersey.
