2014 Lakeside runner-up Alan Norris is one of four BDO stars who will attempt to earn a PDC Tour Card for the next two years.
Throughout this week, over 400 players will try to earn their place on the PDC Tour by featuring in a stacked field at the Robin Park Tennis Centre in Wigan.
As well as Norris, James Wilson, who was top seed for last week's Lakeside event, Robbie Green and Jan Dekker will all attempt to follow the successful switches of Stephen Bunting and Christian Kist 12 months ago.
Other notable players involved include 2008 World Championship finalist Kirk Shepherd, South African Devon Petersen and former world youth champion James Hubbard.
