Stephen Bunting has revealed that he is ready to take full advantage of being handed a wildcard for the upcoming Premier League.
The 2014 Lakeside champion has been rewarded for an impressive year on the PDC Tour by being given one of six wildcards for the 16-week event, and the St Helens thrower believes that he has the ability to make an impact on his first appearance in the tournament.
The 29-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It's still not sunk in, but I'm very happy to be in it and I'm looking forward to several of the big clashes.
"At some time, I've played a few of them on television anyway so there's no fear, just hope really. I can't wait for it to get going.
"I'm not scared of anyone in the league or in the PDC. I know that I've got the game to beat anybody. It's just about taking my game up there and showing it to the fans."
Bunting, the world number 24, recently reached the quarter-finals of the PDC World Championship before losing 5-4 to Raymond van Barneveld.
