Phil Taylor is tipping his quarter-final match at the Grand Slam of Darts against Paul Nicholson "to be a cracker".
The 15-time world champion reached the final eight with a 10-3 victory over Wes Newton yesterday evening, while Nicholson came from behind to beat Steve Beaton.
"I think tomorrow is going to be a cracker, me against Paul," Taylor told Sky Sports News.
"He's a good character and great for the game. I do actually like Paul.
"The things he has said... It's just bravado. He is creating an image for himself and I think he will get a lot of stick tomorrow, and some support as well."
Taylor has won three of the last four Grand Slam of Darts titles.
