Adrian Lewis has maintained third place in the Premier League table after hitting a nine-darter on his way to a 7-5 victory over James Wade.
The two-time world champion had witnessed Wade overcome a slow start in Belfast to lead 5-4 but in the 10th leg, Lewis recorded the perfect leg to give himself the platform to seal a closely-fought win.
Phil Taylor remains at the top of the standings after registering a 7-5 win over Raymond van Barneveld, who returned later in the evening to defeat Robert Thornton by a 7-4 scoreline.
Thornton had earlier eased past Peter Wright 7-2 but the Scot is all but out of the tournament after failing to defeat Van Barneveld.
The other match of the evening between Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson ended in a 6-6 draw, with the two players averaging 110 and 108 respectively.
