Adrian Lewis has recorded a 3-0 victory over Jan Dekker to progress through to the second round of the World Championship.
The two-time champion was pushed by Dekker, who held leads of 2-1 and 2-0 in the first and third sets respectively, but six maximums and a 164 checkout from Lewis proved to be the difference.
Former Lakeside champion Jelle Klaasen was equally impressive against Joe Cullen, with the Dutchman ending with an average of 102.54 - the highest registered during the first round - on his way to a 3-0 win.
Benito van de Pas, who defeated Paul Nicholson and Dave Chisnall on the way to the third round last year, is through after he recorded a 3-1 victory against world youth champion Max Hopp.
Hopp rallied during the third set to extend the match into a fourth session, but Van de Pas regained his composure to secure his place in the last 32.
Andrew Gilding made light work of Welshman Gerwyn Price as he dropped just three legs on the way to a 3-0 success.
