Team England announce 15-strong diving squad

Team England announces its 15-strong diving squad for this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Team England have confirmed a team of 15 divers to represent the nation for this year's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, headed by Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley.

As well as Daley, the team includes Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow, who won silver at the European Championships and have competed at two previous Commonwealth Games.

"I am really excited about the chance to compete at my second Commonwealth Games," Daley said in a statement released by Team England. "Delhi was a great experience and to come home with two gold medals was a dream come true.

"I think Glasgow will be an amazing host for the Games and know they will put on a great show. I want to go into the competition and try to retain my title. The Games are a great chance to get yourself into a multi-sport mindset just two years ahead of the Olympics."

The team also includes debutant Freddie Woodward.

Team in full:

Tom Daley, Matthew Dixon, Daniel Goodfellow, Matty Lee, Jack Laugher, Chris Mears, James Denny, Nicholas Robinson-Baker, Freddie Woodward, Oliver Dingley, Tonia Couch, Sarah Barrow, Rebecca Gallantree, Hannah Starling, Alicia Blagg.
