Sarah Paulson hoping to direct American Horror Story spinoff

Sarah Paulson has revealed her ambition to serve as director on the upcoming <em>American Horror Story</em> spinoff.

Show creator Ryan Murphy <a href="/entertainment/news/ryan-murphy-unveils-american-horror-story-spinoff_399128.html">recently revealed</a> that he is developing a new series called <em>American Horror Stories</em>, a collection of one-off standalone episodes featuring cast members from the main show.

Paulson has appeared in eight of the nine seasons of <em>AHS</em> - also directing an episode in season eight - and is a frequent collaborator with Murphy, appearing in his other shows <em>Feud</em> and <em>American Crime Story</em>.
