Tenth Saw movie to be released in 2023
The makers of Saw announce plans to release a 10th film in time for Hallowe'en 2023.

The makers of the Saw movies have confirmed that a 10th film in the franchise will be released next year.

The gruesome horror films were released at the rate of one every Hallowe'en between 2004 and 2010, with spinoffs Jigsaw and Spiral following in 2017 and 2021 respectively.

The next instalment in the franchise will be directed by Kevin Greutert, who previously directed the sixth and seventh films, having also served as editor on the first six and Jigsaw.

Announcing the new project, producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules said: "We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love.

"And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw 6, which is still one of the fans' favourites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon."

The film is scheduled for release on October 27, 2023.
