Kanye West releases a five-track album of Christian music on Christmas Day.

Kanye West ended his troubled 2020 by releasing a five-track EP of religious music on Christmas Day.

Called Emmanuel, the Christian album features his Sunday Service choir group and runs to just 12 minutes.

The tracks all reference the Bible and are titled ' REQUIEM AETERNA', 'O MIRA NOX', 'O MAGNUM MYSTERIUM', 'PUER' and 'GLORIA'.

The 43-year-old has had a difficult 2020, having suffered a serious bout of bipolar disorder over the summer that resulted in him going on a series of bizarre rants on social media in which he accused his mother-in-law of being a white supremacist and compared the music industry to the struggles of slavery.

West also took the strange decision to run for US President, despite having missed the deadline to be on the ballot in many States, and ultimately received 0.0004% of the nationwide vote.

The new EP comes a year after the release of the similarly-religion themed Jesus Is King.
