Austin Mahone joins OnlyFans, vows to get naked

Singer-songwriter Austin Mahone joins OnlyFans and promises fans that he will bare all.

Singer-songwriter Austin Mahone is the latest celebrity to join the adult-themed website OnlyFans.

The 24-year-old, who first gained fame 10 years ago posting covers of songs on YouTube, is charging fans $24.99 (£19.35) a month to unlock a collection of private photos and videos.

According to fans who have subscribed, Mahone has yet to post anything too explicit but the former teen star told TMZ that he is prepared to get naked for the site at some point.

"I've seen people go on there doing straight-up porn and make a ton of money," he told the website. "I'm not going to take it there. I'll take some ideas maybe.

"There's definitely a chance you'll see my underpants off."

He added: "That's not the only kind of stuff I'm posting on there - I'm also posting new music that I haven't released and some old music that fans have been asking for."

OnlyFans enjoyed a surge in popularity during lockdown thanks to an influx of celebrities launching accounts, with model Blac Chyna thought to have earned the most - a reported £16 million - so far.
