JLS singer JB Gill is announced as the second celebrity competing in Strictly Come Dancing 2024.

JLS star JB Gill has been named as the second celebrity in the lineup for this year's Strictly Come Dancing.

The news comes 12 years after he won the Christmas 2012 edition of Strictly, which saw him perform the Jive with professional Ola Jordan.

Bandmate Aston Merrygold previously took part in the ballroom contest in 2017, providing one of the shocks of the series when he became the sixth celebrity to be voted out.

Gill said: "I danced in the Strictly Christmas special over a decade ago and loved it, so when I got the call to join Strictly this year, it was an immediate yes from me.

"I'm raring to go to and looking forward to showing off some new skills to the JLS boys. From muddy wellies on the fields of my farm to sequins and Glitterballs - I'm here to embrace it all!"

Gill joins previously-announced comedian Chris McCausland in the official lineup ahead of the show's return next month.
