ITV announces that it has commissioned Loaded In Paradise, a new reality series where the contestants will live their most lavish lives.

ITV has announced details of a new competitive reality series where the contestants will be encouraged to spend lavishly to give themselves the best time possible.

Called Loaded In Paradise, the show will feature five pairs on a race around the Aegean islands with a gold card that is loaded with cash.

The twist is that only one couple can have the card at any one time - and they must avoid being caught by any of the other pairings to keep control of the card and all of the luxury experiences it brings.

Every 48 hours the chase will be paused and all of the couples will meet at a neutral venue to debrief - and no doubt bicker as they battle for the card, which is topped up with fresh cash every day.

Paul Mortimer, ITV's director of reality formats, said: "Loaded In Paradise brings a fun and fast-paced new format to our viewers which fits our ongoing strategy to drive new, young audiences in streaming."

The show, which runs to 15 episodes, will premiere on new streaming service ITVX later this year.
