Alessio Foconi defeats Timur Arslanov of Russia 15-11 to take gold in the men's individual foil.
Alessio Foconi has won gold in the men's individual foil after defeating Timur Arslanov of Russia.
The Italian won 15-11 over the space of two periods.
Italy also took bronze thanks to Francesco Ingargiola, along with France's Jean-Paul Tony Helissey.
