Aalesund will attempt to lift themselves from the bottom of the Norwegian Eliteserien when they host Stromsgodset at the Color Line Stadion on Sunday.
The visitors come into this weekend in ninth place and will attempt to avoid three consecutive defeats when they make the trip to Alesund.
Match preview
The first half of the campaign has been an absolute disaster for Aalesund, who currently sit at the foot of the table with just seven points recorded after 16 matches.
Adding to their grim outlook, the hosts were hammered 3-1 by Viking FK last week, which means that they come into this match on a four-match losing streak, conceding 13 while only scoring just three in that time.
Aalesund have won just two out of the eight games they have played at home, losing four of their last five barring a 1-0 victory over Rosenborg at the start of the month.
The visitors have been finding it difficult at both ends of the pitch, currently possessing the league's worst scoring record of 11 while also holding the worst defensive record of 36 goals conceded.
Meanwhile, Stromsgodset had won four successive matches before their 1-0 defeat to Brann on July 16, and they failed to bounce back against Rosenborg last weekend, losing once again by a single goal.
Nevertheless, Jorgen Isnes's side remain in ninth position, which would represent an improvement on each of their last five campaigns, as well as fighting against relegation for large parts of last season.
Godset are 10 points off the top three, and Isnes will have his sights firmly on closing that gap, starting with picking up a victory this weekend.
Stromsgodset have managed to amass eight points from as many games on their travels so far this campaign, recording two wins, two draws and four losses.

Team News
The hosts will be without Alexander Ammitzboll, who scored nine goals for them last season, as the striker continues his recovery from an ACL injury and is only expected back next month.
Amidou Diop will return from a one-match suspension after he was shown red against Lillestrom on July 19.
As for the visitors, they could remain without Jostein Ekeland until mid-August, but otherwise Isnes appears to have a healthy squad to pick from.
Kreshnik Krasniqi may be given the nod to start in the engine room after settling for a place on the bench against Rosenborg, while Jonatan Braut Brunes look set to lead the line here.
Aalesund possible starting lineup:
Grytebust; Munksgaard, Hopland, Fallman, Kitolano; Barmen, Segberg, Karlsbakk; Atanga, Kristensen, Odemarksbakken
Stromsgodset possible starting lineup:
Myhra; Hanssen, Valsvik, Dahl; Enersen, Stengel, Krasniqi, Grogaard; Mehnert, Brunes, Stenevik
We say: Aalesund 0-2 Stromsgodset
Aalesund have the worst defensive record in the league, and although Stromsgodset would have been disappointed to see their impressive winning streak come to an end recently, they should still have enough quality to take all three points here.
