Shay Logan has insisted that the entire Aberdeen squad will pay no attention to the results that Celtic pick up between now and the end of the season.
As it stands, Logan's Dons are three points behind the leaders, who also have a game in hand.
However, despite the fact that Aberdeen require the Bhoys to drop points in order to win a first Scottish Premiership title since the days of Sir Alex Ferguson in 1985, the defender has told his teammates that they should only "focus" on themselves.
"We can't focus on Celtic, we can only focus on ourselves. We need to try to give good performances ourselves and take the three points. That puts the pressure back on Celtic," he told Sports Mole.
"It's okay having games in hand, but you've got to win them. They will be favourites to do that, but you've still got to go out and get the wins. You'd rather have the points on the board."
Next up for Aberdeen is a Saturday lunchtime trip to Dundee - a game that will be screened live on BT Sport.
The two sides have faced each other three times this season, earning a win apiece. If Aberdeen are to record a second victory of the campaign against Paul Hartley's men, Logan believes that concentration will be key.
"They are a tough team, but in each of those games we were the better team. The cup game, it shows you have to concentrate for the 90 minutes because one mistake cost us. The game at home was the same sort of thing," he added.
"It's all about concentration when you play teams like this because we know we have the ability to go out there and win the game. It's not always about ability, it's about remaining calm and not letting your concentration slip."
