Dylan Thomas pens new Aberdeen deal

Wales Under-19 international Dylan Thomas agrees a new contract with Aberdeen.

Welsh midfielder Dylan Thomas has signed a one-year contract extension with Aberdeen.

The 18-year-old, who only moved to Pittodrie on a one-year deal in the summer, will now stay with the Dons until 2017.

"Dylan has been excellent for us," Aberdeen's Under-20s manager Paul Sheerin told the club's official website.

"When he arrived, it took him a wee while to get used to the pace of the Scottish game but he has worked really hard and fully deserves his new contract."

Thomas, who is a Wales Under-19 international, was previously with Swansea City before joining the Scottish Premiership side.
