Massimo Ambrosini's agent claims that the AC Milan midfielder has no intention of retiring at the end of the season.

AC Milan midfielder Massimo Ambrosini will not be retiring at the end of the season, according to his agent Moreno Roggi.

The 34-year-old's contract is due to expire at the end of the season and reports in Italy have suggested that he may decide that the time is right to hang up his boots.

However, Roggi has insisted that his client has no intention of calling time on his career.

"We will discuss his future with the club at the end of the season, but his situation is calm," Moreno Roggi told Sportmediaset.

"Retiring is something that he is not considering."

Ambrosini joined the Rossoneri in 1995 from Cesena.
