AC Milan's injury woes have been further compounded by a problem for Matias Silvestre, with the Argentine defender facing around two weeks on the sidelines after pulling a calf muscle.
Silvestre sustained the injury in yesterday's 3-2 defeat to Parma, with his equaliser eventually proving fruitless as Marco Parolo scored a stoppage-time winner.
Milan club doctors have confirmed this afternoon that Silvestre will definitely miss Wednesday's clash with Lazio thanks to a problem in his right calf, with the injury to be examined again in 10 days.
The Rossoneri have endured a disappointing start to the season, with the last-gasp loss at Parma their fourth in nine Serie A matches.
Massimilano Allegri's cause has not been helped by a succession of injury problems so far this season, with the likes of Stephan El Shaarawy and Giampaolo Pazzini still on the treatment table.
