AC Milan have kept the pressure on Serie A leaders Juventus with a 0-2 win at Genoa.
The match got off to an unfortunate start when play was temporarily suspended after 15 minutes when flares and tear gas were let off inside of the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
When play was resumed, Milan had the better of the first half but were unable to find the breakthrough.
The Rossonerri eventually took the lead after 55 minutes when Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored from the spot following a foul from Kakhaber Kaladze. The defender was shown a red card for the challenge.
After a shocking miss from Robinho from a couple of yards out, Milan put the game out of reach when Antonio Nocerino tapped in from Kevin-Prince Boateng's cross.
