Team News: Robinho replaces Mario Balotelli for Milan

AC Milan hand Robinho a rare start against Bologna in Serie A tonight, with Mario Balotelli missing through suspension.

AC Milan have swapped the suspended Mario Balotelli for Robinho ahead of tonight's trip to Bologna.

Balotelli is ruled out this evening as he begins a three-match ban for insulting officials during last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Napoli, with Robinho brought in to partner Alessandro Matri in attack.

Antonio Nocerino also comes into Massimiliano Allegri's starting XI in place of Sully Muntari, with Valter Birsa continuing to deputise for the injured Riccardo Montolivo and Kaka.

Bologna are without Panagiotis Kone and Cesare Natali through suspension, with Uruguay youngster Diego Laxalt among those to get a chance as a result.

Jonathan Cristaldo also gets a rare start in attack ahead of Rolando Bianchi, with Alessandro Diamanti playing just behind.

Bologna: Curci, Garics, Antonsson, Mantovani, Morleo, Perez, Pazienza; Christodoulopoulos, Diamanti, Laxalt, Cristaldo

Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Zapata, Mexes, Constant, Poli, De Jong, Nocerino, Birsa, Matri, Robinho
