Serie A club-by-club transfer latest: July 10

Sports Mole takes a look at the latest transfer news and speculation from Serie A.

The World Cup final will take place this weekend, but there has been no shortage of activity in the transfer market.

Here, Sports Mole takes a closer look at the latest rumours from Serie A and the deals that have already been completed this summer.

AC Milan

It appears that Adil Rami is set for a move to AC Milan, with reports claiming that the club have come to an agreement with Valencia over his transfer. The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at the San Siro and has expressed his desire to stay in Italy.

There are also rumours that Alessio Cerci could on by his way to the Rossoneri, but they may face competition from Atletico Madrid. Ghanaian youngster Kingsley Boateng has joined NAC Breda and Cristian Zaccardo could also be leaving, with the 32-year-old linked with a switch to Turkish outfit Balikesirspor.

Atalanta

Atalanta have completed the signing of midfielder Marco D'Alessandro from Roma and have also snapped up Yohan Benalouane on a permanent basis from Parma.

Meanwhile, French youngster Prince-Desir Gouano has joined Rio Ave on loan. The France Under-20 international moved to the Nerazzurri last summer and spent the previous campaign at RKC Waalwijk.

Cagliari

Cagliari have added to their squad with the loan signings of Italian youngsters Samuele Longo and Simone Benedetti from Inter Milan. They have also signed Antonio Balzano from Pescara on a permanent basis.

Meanwhile, the club have been linked with a move for Trapani striker Matteo Mancosu, who was the top scorer in Serie B last season, but Victor Ibarbo could on his way out, with Inter Milan said to be planning a bid for the Colombian.

Cesena

Cesena have continued to strengthen their squad ahead of their return to the top flight after signing highly-rated goalkeeper Nicola Leali on loan from Juventus.

There have also been recent reports in the Italian press linking Atalanta defender Michele Canini with a move to the club.

Chievo

Chievo have agreed to the loan signings of three players from the two Milan giants this week. Slovenian international Valter Birsa has joined from Milan, while Cristiano Biraghi and goalkeeper Francesco Bardi have arrived from Inter.

Thomas Mangani has also completed a move to the Gialloblu after joining on a free transfer from Nancy, but goalkeeper Marco Silvestri has left the club for Championship outfit Leeds United.

Fiorentina

Marouane Fellaini has been the latest player linked with a move to Fiorentina this summer. The Belgium international faces an uncertain future at Old Trafford and reports have suggested the club will allow him to leave for £15m.

The Viola are thought to be close to sealing a move for Botafogo youngster Octavio and they have also been credited with an interest in Lukas Podolski, although the likes of Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Monaco are said to be tracking the Arsenal forward.

Genoa

Genoa striker Alberto Gilardino has joined Chinese outfit Guangzhou Evergrande. The club have moved quickly to fill the vacant forward spot, as Alessandro Matri is close to completing a loan move from Milan.

Meanwhile, Sime Vrsaljko's agent has confirmed that talks with Milan regarding his transfer are taking place, while another player departing the Rossoblu this summer is Francelino Matuzalem, who has joined Bologna following the expiration of his contract.

Hellas Verona

The future of Juan Iturbe could finally be decided within the next week. It is believed that the 21-year-old has already agreed terms with Juventus over a move to Turin, but he is waiting on his club to accept the Bianconeri's transfer offer.

In other news, Hellas Verona are reportedly interested in Danubio FC midfielder Camilo Mayada. The Uruguayan has played for his country at Under-20 level and is also said to be wanted by Parma and Cagliari.

Inter Milan

In the past couple of days Inter Milan have sealed a move for Roma defender Dodo. If recent reports are to be believed then the club are also close to completing the signings of Yann M'Vila and Gary Medel. Pablo Osvaldo is another player that could be on his way to the San Siro, as he is said to have agreed personal terms over a move from Southampton.

There has also been much speculation concerning players exiting the club this summer. It is believed that Spanish champions Atletico Madrid are planning bids for Samir Handanovic and Mauro Icardi, while Sevilla have been linked with a move for Zdravko Kuzmanovic.

Juventus

There has been intense speculation over the past few days that Manchester United defender Patrice Evra could be on his way to Juventus. The 33-year-old only signed a contract extension last month, but the arrival of Luke Shaw at Old Trafford has cast doubt over his future. Meanwhile, Alvaro Morata's agent has claimed that his client is a little bit closer to joining the club from Real Madrid.

Morata's proposed transfer may not be the only deal between Juventus and Madrid this summer, as the clubs have reportedly opened discussions for a potential swap of Angel di Maria and Paul Pogba. In other news, Montenegro international Mirko Vucinic has completed a move to United Arab Emirates club Al Jazira, while Jacob Barrett Laursen has joined Odense on a permanent basis.

Lazio

Lazio are reportedly in talks with Cagliari over the transfer of defender Davide Astori. The 27-year-old has been liked with a number of clubs this summer and it appears increasingly likely that he will be leaving Sardinia in the near future.

Astori is not the only player linked with a move to Rome in this transfer window. The arrival of manager Stefano Pioli has pushed the rumour mill into overdrive, with Gabriel Paletta, Miguel Britos and Eduardo all said to be high on the club's list of targets.

Napoli

Over the weekend it was reported that Swansea City forward Michu could be on the verge of a loan move to Napoli. The 27-year-old scored just twice in the Premier League last season and has been linked with a move away from South Wales this summer.

The club are also said to be in talks with Liverpool over taking Pepe Reina and Lucas Leiva on loan, while they have been linked with both Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld and Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

Palermo

Costa Rica captain Bryan Ruiz has been linked with a move to Palermo this week.

The 28-year-old helped his team reach the quarter-finals of the World Cup this summer and recent reports out of Italy suggest that he is wanted by the Sicilian outfit.

Parma

Parma have signed Daniel Tozser from Genoa in a straight swap for Aleandro Rosi, but they have immediately sent him out on a two-year loan to Watford.

In other news, Ezequiel Schelotto could be heading back for a second spell on loan at the Gialloblu. The Argentine impressed at the Stadio Ennio Tardini last season and talks have reportedly been held with Inter Milan regarding his return.

Roma

Former England international Ashley Cole has joined Roma this week. The 33-year-old left Chelsea following the expiration of his contract and has signed a two-year deal with the club. Fellow left-back Urby Emanuelson is also set to arrive on loan from Milan.

In what has been a busy week in Rome, the club have completed the loan signing of Fenerbahce player Salih Ucan on an initial season-long loan, while they have sold Marco D'Alessandro to Atalanta and loaned Marquinho to Al Ittihad. There are also various reports out of Italy suggesting that USA international DeAndre Yedlin is on the verge of a move to the Giallorossi.

Sampdoria

Walter Samuel could be on his way to Sampdoria after the club's sporting director revealed that that they are in talks with the defender. The 36-year-old is available on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Inter Milan.

They have also been linked with a move for Genoa midfielder Francesco Lodi, while Pedro Obiang's agent has denied recent speculation claiming that his client will be joining Milan.

Sassuolo

Argentine centre-back Walter Kannemann, who plays for San Lorenzo de Almagro, has been linked with a move to Sassuolo, but the club could face competition from Chievo, Hellas Verona and Parma for his signature.

It has also been claimed in recent days that the Neroverdi have made an offer to Fiorentina for former Italy international Mattia Cassani, but midfielder Tommaso Bianchi has left the club after signing for Leeds.

Torino

Spanish midfielder Ruben Perez has moved to Torino on loan from Atletico Madrid. The 25-year-old has been loaned out by the La Liga outfit for the past four seasons, and will be plying his trade in Serie A for the first time.

He could soon be joined by Fabio Quagliarella, as it is reported that the club have reached an agreement with Juventus for his transfer.

Udinese

In the past week Udinese have completed the signing of Alexis Zapata from Deportiva Envigado. The club have also have revealed that Colombia international Pablo Armero is for sale, amid reported interest from Fiorentina.

Another player that could be leaving is Simone Scuffet, as Atletico Madrid have reportedly made an offer for the highly-rated goalkeeper.
