Agent: 'Zlatan Ibrahimovic could join AC Milan'

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent says that the Paris Saint-Germain ace could re-sign for AC Milan when his contract expires at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The agent of Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that his client could return to AC Milan when his contract expires in the summer.

The Swede, 34, was heavily linked with a switch to the Rossoneri during the previous transfer window, while speculation has mounted in recent weeks that an MLS switch is on the cards.

His representative, Mino Raiola, hinted that an Italian club could struggle to meet Ibrahimovic's salary demands, but claims that there is always "hope" in Milan being one of the interested parties.

"In the summer it was very complicated [to move to Milan] because Ibrahimovic was still under contract with PSG," Raiola told Premium Sport.

"A return to Italy at this point is difficult [financially], but in the end it will be a decision he will take. After all, if he is willing to play for free then it's up to him.

"America isn't the only option, but it's obvious that a player of his ability is the master of his own destiny. As far as going back to Milan is concerned, there is always hope."

Ibrahimovic, who also played for Inter Milan, spent a total of two years with the Rossoneri, before leaving for Les Parisiens in 2012.
