The agent of AC Milan defender Leonel Vangioni has claimed that his client could join Sevilla in the January transfer window as he prepares to call time on his San Siro career.
Vangioni joined Milan from River Plate in last summer's transfer window, but has not made a single appearance for the Italian giants this season and has been tipped to leave in the winter window.
Armando Vangioni, who is Leonel's father as well as his agent, has said that the 29-year-old has a number of options, one of which is Sevilla.
"We've evaluating some possibilities for Leonel, especially in Spain," Vangioni told ABC. "Sevilla? Maybe that could be something positive for him. It would be a very welcome destination in a great League, a perfect destiny for his career.
"We're working, but there's nothing definite so we must be cautious. We're in negotiations and we'll see how it goes, maybe we'll know something in a few days."
Vangioni has represented the Argentina national team on four occasions.
