AC Milan head Fernando Llorente queue?

AC Milan have reportedly emerged as the favourites to sign Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente.

The 27-year-old, who has refused to sign a new contract with the club, was strongly linked with a host of European sides this summer.

Despite remaining in Spain, it is expected that he will depart in January, with Milan currently the favourites to acquire the powerful forward, according to Mediaset.

Llorente can leave on a free transfer next June.
