AC Milan bring in Gabriel Paletta and Luca Antonelli

AC Milan reveal that defensive duo Gabriel Paletta and Luca Antonelli will join the club before the end of the January transfer window.

AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi has strengthened his squad with the additions of defensive duo Gabriel Paletta and Luca Antonelli.

Inzaghi has found his position at the San Siro come under pressure with his team spending much of the first half of the season in mid-table, but the former Italian international has moved to improve his backline before the end of the January transfer window.

Parma coach Roberto Donadoni revealed on Sunday that Paletta had been sold to Milan, and the Serie A giants confirmed the move on Monday by posting a picture of the former Liverpool player on their official Twitter page.

Former academy graduate Antonelli has returned to the club after spending the past four seasons at Genoa.
