Will Hatfield has agreed a new one-year deal with Accrington Stanley.
The 21-year-old midfielder becomes the sixth player to sign a new contract with the League Two club this summer, joining George Miller, Ian Dunbavin, Laurence Wilson, James Gray and Dean Winnard in agreeing fresh terms at the Crown Ground.
Hatfield has predicted that the club will be successful under new manager James Beattie.
"There's been a lot of change during the off season," Hatfield told Accrington's official website.
"James Beattie has come in as manager and there are exciting times ahead. I think we'll have a really good season."
Hatfield scored six goals in 34 appearances last season.
