Teenage goalkeeper Luke Simpson has penned a six-month contract with Accrington Stanley.
The 19-year-old shot-stopper had been on trial at the League Two club before being offered a permanent deal.
"Luke's come in and shown us that he's a good goalkeeper with a lot of potential," manager James Beattie told the club's official website.
"He's impressed us in training and in games and this is a great opportunity for him."
Simpson is Accrington's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Adam Buxton last month.
