Round 25 of the Turkish Super Lig kicks off with Adana Demirspor hosting Kasimpasa at the New Adana Stadium on Friday evening.
The hosts are enduring a winless streak that stretches across eight games in all competitions, while the visitors have been victorious in their last two league games.
Match preview
Adana Demirspor come into this clash reeling from an eight-game winless streak across all competitions, their latest setback being a 2-1 defeat to Pendikspor.
Trailing by two goals before half time, despite a red card for the opposition, they could only manage a stoppage-time consolation effort through Nani.
Hikmet Karaman's side have now failed to win 13 of their last 14 Super Lig matches, losing five and drawing eight since the beginning of November.
Despite their struggles, Adana remain in the European qualification picture, sitting ninth in the league table with 31 points after 24 games, six behind fourth-placed Trabzonspor.
The Blue Lightnings are back at home which provides some solace, having collected 24 points at the New Adana Stadium, although they have failed to win their last four home games across all compeitions.
Kasimpasa, meanwhile, are enjoying a resurgence in their European aspirations after a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over Alanyaspor at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium.
Trailing from a Jackson Porozo own goal just before the half-hour mark, they rallied through Gokhan Gul and Mamadou Fall to secure all three points.
After a promising start to the season, Kasimpasa looked like genuine contenders for European football, but a poor run that lasted from November to mid-January saw them fall off.
However, three wins from their last four league matches have now propelled them back into contention, as they currently sit in sixth place with 35 points from 24 matches, just two points behind fourth-placed Trabzonspor.
Next up is an away game at a ground they have never won at, as they look to complete a first-ever league double over Adana after a 2-1 win in the reverse leg in September.

Demirspor will be without Turkish forward Yusuf Sari, who has been sidelined since injuring himself against Istanbul Basaksehir on January 6.
Karaman could switch things up a bit to inject some freshness into his side, which could create an opening for Nani to start after coming off the bench and scoring last time out.

Turkish midfielder Erdem Cetinkaya is currently recovering from a thigh problem, while Samuel Bastien has been ruled out since October due to a severe injury.

Adana Demirspor possible starting lineup:
Mahammadaliyev; Tokoz, Cisse, Cisse, Dursun; Gravillon, Michut; Nani, Stambouli, Erdogan; Akbaba
Kasimpasa possible starting lineup:

We say: Adana Demirspor 1-2 Kasimpasa
Adana may have a strong home record against Kasımpasa, but they are currently out of form. It feels like the perfect time for the visitors to claim their first victory at the New Adana Stadium and we are backing a narrow win for them.
